Description |
| Part Design |
I-deas provides a focused treatment of mechanical part design,
starting with an overview of the design tools and user interface.
The course then covers model file management, wireframe and
solid geometry construction tools, modification techniques,
reference geometry, the use of relations, fundamentals of
troubleshooting, and integrated data management. In addition,
the course provides an introduction to surfacing and coverage
of tools for pattern and feature creation.

| Assembly Design |
I-deas Assembly Design introduces the use of I-deas Master
Assembly for building assemblies as well as designing parts
in the assembly context.

| Drafting |
Drafting: Documenting 3D Parts and Assemblies provides focused
treatment on how to document designs within I-deas. Included
in this course are I-deas Master Drafting™, I-deas Master
Notation™, and a review of data management.

| Best Practices |
I-deas Best Practices: Part History and Modeling Strategies
provides the intermediate u ser with an in-depth understanding
of part modeling. The user will learn how I-deas groups, associates
and stores part information in an orderdependent fashion.
This will lead to a better understanding of constructing parts,
troubleshooting problems and modifying parts.

I-deas Data Management will teach you how to use I-deas
data management to work with, organize, and share I-deas data
in a team project environment.

| Surfacing |
I-deas Surfacing provides the advanced user with an in-depth
understanding of constructing and integrating advanced surfaces
into part modeling. The user will examine all the methods
for creating and manipulating surfaces. The user will also
learn surface operations and how to evaluate surface qualities.
